Values before assets
The family's entrepreneurial roots in northwestern Germany reach back to the nineteenth century. Values were passed on long before assets were.
A beginning, twice
A young couple founds a small family business. In 1944 an air raid destroys their home and livelihood. Within a year, the family has rebuilt from nothing.
Building on four continents
The next generation founds an industrial technology company. Its patented systems go on to be installed on four continents. His three daughters later join the company, one of them carrying the family's lifelong passion for horses and equestrian sport.
The discipline of restructuring
On the paternal side, a lawyer founds what grows into one of the largest specialist law firms in Germany, entrusted by companies and courts with thousands of complex mandates.

Broadly positioned and at home across Europe and the United States, the next generation has founded Klaas Holding to protect and build its own wealth.
